PiCNG SET PACE IN LINE WITH PRESIDENT TINUBU’S RENEWED HOPE AGENDA

…Distributes CNG vehicles in Kogi State.

The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PICNG or PiCNG) recently delivered 10 CNG powered buses and 50 tricycles specifically in Kogi State as part of efforts to reduce transportation costs.

PiCNG’s goals include, Promoting CNG Adoption, Encouraging the use of Compressed Natural Gas as a cleaner and more cost-effective alternative to traditional fuels- Reducing Transportation Costs Aiming to lower fuel expenses for individuals and businesses by up to 60%.

– Environmental Benefits, Contributing to improved air quality and environmental sustainability through reduced carbon emissions.

Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo who is ably represented by the Commissioner for Transport, Represented by the Commissioner For Transport, Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi said the Presidential initiative will help drastically reduce the high transport fare associated with the fuel subsidy removal in the State. He made the disclosure while receiving the first batch of the 50 CNG tricycles allocated for Kogi State.

During the commissioning of the 50 CNG Tricycles donated to National Association of Tricycles owners motorcycle owners and Riders Association, (NACTOMORAS), by the Federal Government. Gov. Ododo lauds President Bola Tinubu for delivery of quality policies that works towards reducing the impact of the subsidy removal on the people, described the present administration as one with human face.

He noted that the CNG Tricycles will promote cleaner and friendly energy in the nation, added that it is also a job creation opportunity improve the livelihood of teeming young Nigerian’s.

Also Speaking at the event, Hon Amos Onuche Isah, the Kogi State NACTOMORAS Chairman stressed that, the first batch of the CNG Tricycles marks as a turning point in the transportation sector of the State while describing stressing that, the presidential initiative will help reduce transportation cost, create jobs and also improve the livelihood of thousands of families who depend on commercial Tricycles and motorcycle operators for their daily sustenance.He thank President Tinubu for the availability of the tricycles in the state while tasks beneficiaries to take cognizance of these machines as a tool for empowerment and pride for the association.

Tricycles are not just machines but tools for economic empowerment, handle the with care, use them responsibly, and le them be source of pride for our Association and the entire sub sector or Kogi State.” Amos Onuche Isah said.

The outreach anchored by Comrade Abuh Andrew Abuh S.A. to the Executive chairman PI-CNG Ltd on CNG outreach, Redeployment and Recovery PI-CNG Officer who assures to discharge their duties in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to distribute CNG Power Tricycles across the 36 State of the Federation to reduce the cost of transportation in the country.
