Prof. (Amb.) Tijjani Shehu Idris Honoured by African Youth Assembly for Peace, Reaffirms Commitment to National Development

The African Youth Assembly for Peace (AYAP) has honoured Prof. (Amb.) Dr. Tijjani Shehu Idris, the Sardaunan Sarkin Dillalan Kano and Chief Executive Officer of Muwafiq General Investment Nigeria Ltd., with a prestigious award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to peacebuilding, youth empowerment, real estate development, and national growth.

Prof. Tijjani, a widely respected entrepreneur and humanitarian, is a leading figure in Nigeria’s real estate and construction sector. Through his company Muwafiq General Investment Nigeria Ltd., he has created numerous jobs and contributed significantly to infrastructure development across Nigeria. His role as a registered member of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) further affirms his professional impact and leadership in the sector.

Beyond his business achievements, Prof. Tijjani is the Global Founder of the Leadway Peace Foundation for Human Rights Aide, a platform promoting human rights, peace advocacy, and youth inclusion in governance and development.

In his acceptance remarks, Prof. Tijjani appreciated AYAP for the recognition and pledged his full support toward advancing peace and sustainable development under the visionary leadership of Amb. Yakubu Hussain Takai, President of AYAP.

“This award is not just a personal honour, but a call to do more. I am committed to partnering with AYAP in fostering peace, empowering young people, and building a stronger, united Nigeria,” he stated.

The award adds to his growing list of accolades from individuals, NGOs, institutions, and international bodies. Prof. Tijjani’s influence continues to extend beyond Nigeria, earning him recognition across Africa and beyond as a symbol of hope, leadership, and progress.
