Water Well Drilling Rig Owners/ Practitioners Elect New EXCOs As Prof. Okunlola Emerges President.

The Association of Water Well Drilling Rig Owners and Practitioners (AWDROP) has elected a new executives that will steer the affairs of the Association in the next dispensation.

Declaring the names of new executives and the various positions keenly contested and won by the electoral empire, Dr. Umar Nuhu Degree explained to the Press that the was” free, fair and transparent”. adding that the screening of candidates was done online as directed by Reconciliation Committee.

Dr. Degree also commended the candidates, delegates and Press for their time, resilience and patience during and after the election. In his words,” Gentlemen of the Press, our delegates, contestants, this is the result of the just completed election.” thank you so much for your time, thank you for your resilience, thank you for your patience”, he stressed.

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Dr. Degree and his co- Committee member, Muhyideen Muhammed further disclosed that the election was conducted on the 24th October, 2024 at Royal Choice Inn, Abuja with the following candidates scoring the highest votes to clinch their victories:-

Responding on behalf of the newly elected executives, the Deputy President, Alhaji Umar Isa accepted the responsibility bestowed on them to serve and expressed their gratitude to the delegates and members for finding them worthy to be at the helms of affairs in the next tenure.

The former Caretaker Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Isa also commended the Electoral Committee conducting free, fair, and transparent election, while assuring that the new EXCOs will take the Association to the next level. “I’m by name Alhaji Umar Isah, the deputy president elect of AWDROP.

“I wish to accept our election into various offices on behalf of other elected members. We are grateful to the delegates and members in believing in us and the Electoral Committee for conducting a fair, free and transparent election.

“Sincerely speaking, knowing fully well, the way we met AWDROP, With the special grace of God, we’re going to take the Association to the next level that will help humanity and the nation at large”, he assured.
